GOBLIN MONSTER PATTERN

This pattern has a very special place in my heart - this was the first ever thing I made using my own pattern, and it took me hours upon hours to figure out how to write such a thing, but this pattern was the start of it all back in 2017. The middle goblin monster in the photo is named Marv, he was the first one I made while creating this pattern and he was even my shop logo and mascot for the longest time!

Join me in making this pattern so you can have your very own Goblin Monster to throw at friends and other shenanigans, the beauty of this pattern is the creative freedom - use whichever colour and thickness of yarn you'd like, and adding hair (like my purple one) is also an option!

Materials:

Crochet hook corresponding to your yarn thickness

Any colour yarn you'd like

Safety eyes are optional - I used 9mm safety eyes for a 4mm hook (G) and 4 ply yarn Goblin.

Toy stuffing

Yarn needle

Assembly

The easiest way to sew the Goblin Monster together is to start with the head. I set my safety eyes in between R8 and R9 and 5 stitches apart, but you can set them as high or low as you'd like if you're using safety eyes. Otherwise add in your alternative eyes where you think looks best.

Pin the ears to the top of the head, set slightly back and sew them on neatly when you're happy with the placements.

When the ears are on, pin the head to the body and sew in place.

Next pin and sew the legs to the body, making sure your Monster can sit nicely. Pin and sew the arms on.

Finally, if you made the belly, sew that on when you're happy with the placement.

Then that’s it!

You’re done!

Enjoy your new adorable Goblin Monster!

Make sure to make plenty of them to throw at people, I've heard it brings good luck....
